My wife and I went to Rochester, Mn. today for the annual Spring Gold Rush flea market. I picked up some great junk.

I especially like the nice Civilian Construction Corp side cap. At one time, I used to have an entire Civilian Construction Corp uniform I found locally from a man who had been a member back in the 30's right here in the area. That's one thing I wish that I'd kept! Fascinating history, those Civilian Construction Corp boys-and Tremendously Hard workers! Many of their projects around here are still in fine shape!

I have a very good gay friend with a fantastic sense of humor. He enjoyed them tremendously. I couldn't buy them because they were more than my insignia!!

I like CCC stuff too! I had a CCC issue kit. It came in a blue cardboard and had all the basic toiletries that you needed. I still have it around here some place. We had a CCC HQ here in town and a camp about 15 miles away.
