Freies Arabien sleeve patch -- fake??

Apologies in advance for the necro-posting.

I am looking for the dimensions of this patch, as I am in the process of having some reproductions made... but I'm struggling to find the proper dimensions. The examples I found on ebay are all in the 2.75x4.5" region (7x11.5cm), yet Epic Militaria sells them as 4.5x7cm. Can anyone help with this confusion?

I cannot help on this. And while your intentions might be honest, many people would be reluctant to help bring yet another repro item onto the market.

Ah, I have not considered that angle. The patches being produced (in a once-off batch) will be in private use for our local Afrika Korps unit, and were never intended to be sold. I will make that clear to the members, given the point you have raised.
