As can be seen in the comparison even the A is the same - a distinctive difference from the reproduction that started this thread.

The arm insignia can be seen on this photo...same first A than on Bob's patch and Mark photo...nice...
You can find this photo (and many others) in the thread dedicated to foreign volunteers arm insignia on period pics (WH uniforms subforum).

What I pulled from the video was the m40's...note the lack of ventilation grommets, and some appeared to have no false turn-ups...maybe the image quality for the later, but certainly no grommets!

Hi Robert, to be honest I cannot recall seeing a good one for sale either and I have been at this for 34 years. So mine and yours experience is pretty much the same. These are rare and rare is a much over used word in this hobby.
