Gebirgsjäger Edelweiß Sleeve Patch
I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I bought a reproduction Edelweiss patch last week, to sew on to my hiking backpack. I must have not looked it at carefully, it came in the mail this morning and to my surprise it is actually a nice original one.
For once I made a good mistake!
Your one lucky man, good for you. My gdd wore that patch in the ss gebirgsjager.
I love making mistakes like that.
This is nice, but I'll never forget that story of a guy who bought a Swedish army jacket for $20 and it turned out to be an original M43 German tunic. *Drools*
