    Hello Everyone!

I picked this tunic up a few weeks ago and I thought it would go great with my G.33/40!
It looks to be an upgraded tunic and seems to have seen some use over the years it was in service.
The collar looks to be upgraded along some additional insulation in the shoulders.

    Which model is this again?

    Thanks

Has anyone seen added insulation to these tunics before?

The Paul Kubler manufacturer, looks like they went out of business in the 1970's. I wonder if anyone else on the forum has another Paul Kubler made tunic. Does anyone else think that the collar looks to be a field addition?

    Hello,
Apparently, it is a Feldbluse 1933 modified 1936 that has been modified (upgraded) for an Offizier (or a modified 1940 as the production of the Feldbluse with Feldgrau collar started in 1939)....
The collar has been covered with dark green wool, small inner hooks were removed.
I've seen many Offiziere Feldblusen (and even NCO's) that had shoulder padding added.
This Feldbluse is not a privately purchased garment, it has been bought from the Corps, so IMO the sleeve edelweiss should be the BeVo type. The Embroidered type was to be used only with privately purchased tunics.
I guess that at the time, an edelweiss was just as good as another one...
    Thanks

The edelweiss looks period attached to me, I wish I could know the history of this upgrade.
Think it was some NCO that got a field commission?

    Thanks
