These pictures will definitely help get to the bottom of this little mystery. I've not seen a shirt like this before, but then uniforms have never been my specialty. Hopefully someone else here can provide the answers.

Doesn't look like any drillich jacke that I've ever seen. Are there any rbnr numbers on it anywhere?
Nothing on it at all,only on the buttons.Dated 40,41 and 42.
Thread for button holes etc is a old looking mid green colour.Not the same colour as the jacket.
