No No, Im sure POW clothing was much thicker stripes. These were made by a workwear company still in existance today! Maybe send them an email

Hi,
I only know what I was told when I got them back in 1989, that he served in the Jewish Brigade (formed in British Palestine Mandate) and found them in an overan SS field hospital in north Italy.
I am trying to verify this and see who used these designed striped pijamas?

That is exact Krankenhaus bekleidung. They are all has similar blue-black-white stripes

Yes, but these are dark-blue/light-blue/white stripes, no black.

Hi Neil, yes these are hospital issue. Sometimes the dark blue can appear almost black.

He wore them once due to the cold and when he returned back to British Palestine he threw them into the attic until I came 40 years later.

I got a reply from Yad Vashem museum in Jerusalem, they say that during the war they where produced also for camp use and hospitals. They has different versions used in camps. Could be so?
