And in my case the answer is no, I do not own any books yet. Not even the most basic rudimetary inexpensive ones.
You really need to get a few basic books on how to talk to people. It may help you get some friends.
I'm sure it was just the jitters of being new here so once again I welcome you.

One little thing however ... don't you EVER talk down to me like that.

I agree that it appears to befor a SA lagermutze from either Gruppe Berlin Brandenburg or Gruppe Niederrhein. As the example is wrinkled, it does not reflect the exact proportions in the picture. Examples for your reference.

The cloth eagle is the second pattern used on the lagermutze. First caps used the metal 1929 pattern eagle on a cloth triangle

Currently, while on WRF, I do not have any reference books at hand, as my main
library is at home and takes up an entire wall of shelving units.

We all could have simply said: "No, it's a Nazi eagle."
