Hey guys could you take a look at this tunic and let me know what you think?
The price is decent but before I commit I always like to have your opinions...comes with an Iron Cross screw back, no maker mark as well.

Interesting tunic with loops for a German Cross or other star decoration on the pocket. Is the hole for the screwback tailored or just poked through?
A close up of the insignia would help. The eagle wear looks consistant with the general heavy wear of the tunic.
The tunic has sewn in grommet holes for the Iron Cross.
Here is a close up the Iron Cross and shoulder boards...
Very tempting...I have one shot at a decent tunic this year so I need to make it count!
IMO is a good tunic and nice diagonal tricot material, you can buy it without any doubts

It gives a good impression. I would also check the cuffs...often a well worn tunic's cuffs fray through the cloth of back-fold at the edge. One photo looks like this might be the case...not tragic and shows use and accpetable if the price is right. It looks like the cuffs have been pulled down a bit to hide wear...above the top of the cuff the sleeve material appears darker with less obvious wear than the rest and the cuffs look a little short.
Do you a picture of the collar tabs?
Overall, the rank, size (looks large) decorations and wear are consistant.
It would be nice to find a ribbon bar for it with a repeat award eagle clasp for a WW1 Iron Cross.
Thanks guys,
Looks like I am going to give this one a shot.
I really appreciate the help!
nice salty tunic, with a real history for sure...
Hi
The tunic look very good from the photos. It is important to get a good warranty just to make sure you could do a good hand on inspection.

Nice Arty Majors tunic. I have one like your w/ no Rgmtl numbers on the boards-has loops for two awards and long ribbon bar-and has two ribbons in the buttonhole for WWI EK2 and Russian Front medal. The EK ribbon also has a 1939 EK2 Spange.
Nice tunic though.
