Hello,

To me it looks like the shoulder boards have been repiped with a rayon piping. The construction is odd to say the least. Is the zigzag stitching ,on the back, actually holding two pieces of material together?

Those collar tabs are similar. I do not like them either!! Is the back of the shoulder board 1 piece or two pieces?

On the back of the board it self not the tail. Is the zig zag stitch holding 2 pieces of cloth together?

The zigzag stitch holds 2 pieces of scrap material together. If it is only I piece of material then the stitch is not needed. This is also a red flag to me.
