I have never seen an eagle of this style before. I personally don't care for it. To me it lacks definition.

That is an odd one, with the lack of detail to the body and the way the head is done, not one I would consider a period original.

Any item I have ever bought that was considered to be wrong I have kept (as far as I can remember except one), partly because it reminds me of my mistakes and secondly because I would rather they stayed out of the collectors market, but also with further research the opinion of them might change.

I have a nice collection of fake Heer breast eagles. Any eagle that I know is dudious and any eagle I am unsure of go in the box.
