The positive details here must be, The shield are attached on the correct side. It is lightly worn and so is the jacket. The jacket is not "loaded" with ribbons and medals.

So for me it is a good piece, even we cannot say when the shield is attached since they are not attached on a factory. It is the same thing with a volunteer shield as with a Panzerknacker badge, or a cloth DK in silver or gold. You can almost never be 100% certain when it were attached.

Thank you for this; I completely agree with you.

As previously said I plan on making a complete mannequin display, all I need is:

    - Heer single decal helmet
    - Trousers
    - Jack boots
    - Belt
    - Ammo pouches
    - bread bag
    - bayonet
    - canteen
    - fur tornister
    - EK2 and Russian Front medal bar
    - Y straps
    - Mannequin

I already have the tunic and belt buckle so I am nearly there!

    Thank you, Glen.

    Glen

I wanted to show you a Georgian jacket, this is like yours a Dutch reissued jacket for volunteers. This example has no medals or ribbons just like your jacket.

(( I have to use a old and bad photo until i get my new camera, because i cannot find the charger for my old camera. ))

Just wanted to show you similar examples.
