i was told by local collector that 1945, standards really drop. if it the second half of 1944 is the case then i learned something new.
I just thought if you had it saved, if you could share. i didnt mean for you to go out of your way. Ill look into it.

It was also common in Afrika for German Nco's to not have the tress. Any area where supply was difficult and promotions rapid can see this occurring and it is not just restricted to late war. I did have a quick search on another forum, but could not find then quickly.
I seem to vaguely remember that for this type of tunic it is quite common for there to be no tress.
I did comment in my first post on this tunic that I thought the boards were likely to have been added, based on it's condition with the surviving paper size tag.

I would put $650 for it, but i have to many thing to buy right now.
