Likewise; I asked the seller specifically is there were any numbers on the shoulder buttons. So this'd make him a 1st Kompanie Artillery officer? I'm not sure of the official title...
Hi Robbie, not an Officer but an NCO.
Once you get it is hand it might be worth seeing of there was ever a Regimental number on the shoulder straps.
We have not seen the inside yet: this might be marked to his exact unit.

Good point, consider it done! The seller's posting it on Monday so hopefully it should be here sometime next week, and I can post better pictures (with Wound Badge in place).

You can see it used to be for a lower rank and has been upgraded by adding tress (and a pip) to the ends of the shoulder straps. You might find a owners/makers label inside it, often inside an inside pocket.
