Heer Tropenhelm Insignia Set

Gentlemen,

I am planning to post this set in the classifieds for a consignor. I checked all of the posts and threads pertaining to the subject and miscellaneous sites on the web.

Still, my gut tells me that these may be indeed reproductions, and before I disappoint my consignor I need to be 100% positive.

I would appreciate your analysis and opinions.

Perfect original set Ritchie, very nice. Are they aluminium? I have an Aluminium set, fairly early I think though these sorts of insignia are not as well studied as much TR insignia is.

Thanks Jerry. Yes, they are indeed aluminum. I was skeptical as they are so "new" looking.

I suppose good storage is, well, good...
