Very true... Although, to be perfectly honest, "I bought them from someone who has been collecting for over 15 years, and said that he bought them from somebody in Kent who said they were original" is not a very good story to begin with.

The construction is wrong. These look nothing like an authentic set. Conclusion comes from years of experience. I am sure Ade would agree with this statement. Send them back as there is nothing period original about these.
