It is my understanding the last G is usually a bit smaller than the first one. And yes, photos of the back are needed. NH

Not crazy about this one. I don't like the thickness to the thread used on the lettering and Neil makes a valid observation.

Nothing like the EM one on the Guild site on back or front. On the front, there was faint stitch lines between some letters, and the back looks considerably tidier on the original.

The letters are too thin, the Umlauts above the "O" should be smaller and connected. The back stitching is horrible and I believe that these were issued in very dark blue not black. IMO bad

Yes doesnt look good to me and as put by Morris should be dark blue not black cloth

Hi folks, The example posted is a reproduction - and it looks pretty recent. As noted, the umlauts should have stitching connecting them to the O and usually you see a small G at the end. I'm posting my NCO version. Jury is still out I guess on this one but I think it is a good example. NH
