to Paul R and Walkwolf, I am more than happy to post more pics. my sense of humour has been lost in translation navigating the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. the ventriloquist's dummy is an old music hall act. let me know what pics you require as I have to return to the attic and fight my way through spiders and various debris and remove it from the box it reposes in, salutations
    Hi Prosty,

I am sorry for my misinterpretation.

Please tell me that this beauty is not buried with the cobwebs and the spiders!?

I would like to see some photos of any internal stamps, reverse under the collar, and some overall general views of the outside of the tunic.

further pics as requested. manufacturer appears to be E.Reitz. no other markings viewable, including date. it can be seen that collar hooks have been added to lower section of blouse to aid closure. collar patches appear to have been stitched on and " wings " applied after with prongs piercing the collar. breast eagle is "zig-zag" stitched

I have never seen hooks like that! Very interesting. I wonder why they were placed there?

That is a very nice looking tunic!

Hi Geoff, it all looks really nice.

Hi Paul, this soldier must have been really concerned with his turnout, which would befit in with his membership of such a crack formation as the "Hermann Goring" Division. The fliegerbluse will gape slightly in wear I suspect, hence the addition of the two hooks and eyes, to give a smooth smart outline. I love little details like this.

    Cheers, Ade.
