Default How To display my tunic???

    Hi all.
Ive got a tunic which has a photo of orginal wearer.
I would like to display tunic in shadow box.
Ive also got a heer dagger to go with the display.
If I display photo above or to side with the dagger inside the display do you think it will be to big etc.
The second option is to make up seperate display (matching frame) for the photo and dagger etc
Any ideas on how to display it would be very helpful for me.
The tunic shadow box will been done my a professional with hinges so I can open and shut it.
    Rgds Peter.

Nice Inf Oberleutnant. Or is it Oberfeldwebel?

How about enhancing the pic so it covers the entire background or the upper half of the closet?

Thats a really nice looking tunic, Pete, I like the idea Lars has suggested. Those old photos enlarge very well according to my mate the printer and it would look terrific as a backdrop to the tunic. Well done!

I would like to incoperate the photo into the display along with heer dagger with starps but if I display all this in a shadow box I think the box will be two large?
I might end up having to make seperate display with photo and dagger along side the uniform display.
It would have been good to keep it all together but I dont think it will work all that well.
I recieved the tunic last week....its stunning....just to see the mann wearing it all those years ago puts a diffrent angle onto it.
After I brought this I have brought another tunic off Bob at collector to collector.com.
It has orginal owner wearing the tunic with relavant infomation about the indivudal.
I would put a link to it here but I don,t know how lol.
    Rgds Peter.

Hehe, it is very addictive to collect these historical tunics. Soon you will run out of space in your storage box or your closet.

Yes this is my first tunic wih picture etc.
I think when I have spare cash this might be the way my collecting will go.
Its good to put a face to the tunic so to speak.
