    Hi all.

I am new to this forum, so apologies if breaking any rules.

Was helping my ex-mother-in-law to clear decades of stuff kept on her loft by her husband that sadly passed away last year. Found a box that belonged to his dad with some items that her mum insisted I should throw away, but decided to keep some of them for myself, and convinced her to list some of the stuff on ebay, including pretty mint dagger hangers literally saved for inside a bin bag.

Tried for days to find some information without success, but now know that they are German Kriegsmarine gear. But no information on specific items, so decided to ask on this Forum.

    Here is some picture of the items;

Any information regarding those items will be very much apreciated!

    Best Regard,

    Barros

2 Km summer tunic eagles, metal career insignia for coastal art and admin (I think, I've packed most of my books as I'm moving soon) and 4 km screw post type shoulder strap buttons. Rest is US, as was already stated.

I hope none of the items were thrown out........................!

These are definitely all WWII German items - the insignias
with prongs on the back mount onto shoulder boards.

I really like the breast eagles !

    Hi there,

    Thanks for all you help!
Will keep one golden eagle (they look fantastic), one small eagle and the mortar with wings, but probably sell everything else. She listed all other items on ebay. None of the items were thrown out in the end!

If proofed authentic then why not sell them here?
Just put the items up for further inspection.

The items that she listed on Ebay are not the unwanted ones from the pictures above, but distinct items found on the same case (Km dagger hangers, badges and cap tallys).

Nathan, a quick search should direct you to those items. Regarding some of the items in the pictures that I will sell, wouldn't mind doing it through the Forum. Have to find out how much they're worth I suppose...

    Barros
