Infantry Officer Summer Tunic

This is a Officer's tunic made of light weight material for Infantry. Collar boards may be original to the jacket but shoulder boards could be reapplied. Eagle is for sure reapplied. Aside from the collar which has been visited by moths the rest of the tunic has no holes or repairs and is in a good condition over all. However, there are some stains in front and back of the tunic. Inside the tunic is partially lined and it also has a dagger hanger slot. Lining is in good condition.

That are more or less all the datas about this one. I got it offered and wonder if i should buy it.
Please give me your opinion on first place about originallity, possible price then.

Welcome to the forum! Don't worry as 26 views is a very small amount. Chances are many people who looked did not feel qualified to comment.

However, it is a good original tunic. Lightweight tunics are slightly less common thatn regular wool tunics. You have correctly identified the few problems with it. Collar tabs and shoulder boards look originally applied. Value, I would guess would be around £500 here in the UK.
