First to the Rhine River - Strasbourg 1944Hey Dean I just did a ittle research and it says that on November 23 1944 that the 2nd Battalion,of the U.S 324 Infantry was in Strasbourg and that Captain Delbert O, Barry's E Company was the first American unit to reach the Rhine in WW2 I wonder if there is any relevance between your map and the defensive lines that the Germans set up around Stasbourg to gaurd the Bridgehead. Will post the link were I found the info so you can check it out has a excellent tactical map attached to the website Hope it works.

Idont know if there is any relation at all between the map case /map and the information that I gave you Dean it was just speculation but I did find it a point of intrest and there are similarities between the grease marks on the map and the tactical map in the artical.

How much Did u pay for all of it
I paid $35.oo for the map and case/shoulder strap. The Kreistliung armband was $20.oo , the heer trap was $20.oo , the Swiss ammo/med pouch was $15.oo and the pennants were $100.oo
Not bad since I made $150.00 selling a wehrmacht stalhelm shell and a set of panzer collar skulls.
Thanks guys!
~Dean
