Late war printed eagles did exist, but this is not one I have seen before, so sorry but I can't offer a worthwhile opinion.

Whatever its just an opinion.
A new one for me, never seen one before - but I like it!

Something bothers me about this supposed Naval breast eagle. It is neither Bevo,Bullion or even hand embroidered.I have never seen anything like this one before and Kriegsmarine is something I study in depth.I believe it's a post war creation.Just my opinion for whatever it is worth.I would be curious what the reverse loks like? Markings or just blank?

In my career I've seen a few printed eagles, one on an M42 cap and a couple on two very late manufacture M43 tunics. This one looks perfectly OK from where I sit, even if a hands-on inspection is ALWAYS useful in such a case!
Paul, with all due respect our friend has asked whether this eagle could be KM or not...it could well be...and it couldn't.From a distance it looks perfectly legit, these eagles were simply heat-printed on fabric, hence not embroidery to speak of....they were made VERY LATE in the War,just like plastic buttons which do exist! You'ds be hardpressed trying to find markings on these eagles.
