Thanks guys. I have another on the way, but only the metal insignia, no backing.
Jerry, I still intend getting some of the ones you have, nice!

Hi Tom,
I did try to sell my km cloth a few months back on another forum, but no one was interested, so back in its folder it went. I thought I would concentrate completely on Dak/trop, and use the money towards that. Mind you, I still cant resist the odd impulse buy of other stuff, I bought an M1890 Swiss firemans helmet the other week in the local flea market, because it was kinda cool and seemed a good price and I had always wanted an old firemans helmet.
Thanks,
Jerry

Re: Kriegsmarine Trade Patches
You know, Jerry, I understand the logic in restricting your collection to a certain area, but like you I buy as something interesting comes along, as well as looking for pieces to complete groups or sets.
My belief is that if you want it, buy it. No need to motivate your purchase to anyone but yourself. Maybe, in a few months, if you are still wanting to sell your KM items we can talk again.

Re: Kriegsmarine Trade Patches
@ Tom
are you just collecting the metal insignia or also the soft cloth, gold/yellow and or red on blue backing ?

Re: Kriegsmarine Trade Patches
Well, I've actually only just branched off into this area, but will most likely be collecting the soft cloth ones too. At present I am mainly just buying whatever I can find locally, but maybe by next year, the world will be my oyster.
