If genuine, very late Volkssturm...April 1945.

Thanks guys for your comments. I acquired this armband from the family of the veteran. This was in a box with 5 identical armbands and a group of unfinished small size ( 10" ) town pennants. Best, Hal
The materials used is 3 Reich period for sure, there typical viscose- artificial cloth, which is widely used on the end of war in different German insignia
