You can tell this is original by several details including the zig-zag sewing under the collar and the rayon lining. If you look carefully in the pocket area you may see some faint stamps in black ink. They will be size markings and manufacture date. If you are going to add anything to this I would recommend a set of shoulder boards. Be careful to measure the distance from the retaining loop to the button so you get a proper size of shoulder board. Don't add anything else! Get yourself a cloth cap or helmet, buckle and maybe a large repro belt (originals are hard to come by) and you have yourself an instant display. Nice Mantel and a good price. NH
