Re: legit m42 tunic ?
The eagle looks more like a parrot, or is it my tired old eyes?...

Re: legit m42 tunic ?
Hello,
Not even close......i mean the eagle...
For the rest, i would like to see more and better photos to determine if the base is good or not. So far i like what i see concerning the quality and texture of the HBT cloth...not saying that the Drillichrock is good of course, but the HBT cloth speaks for itself here...photos taken with cellphone ?
As this is the rarest variant of the wartime Drillichrock...this one deserves some special attention IMO
For those who ignore the Drillichrock nomenclatura, here it is :
1st pattern : Drillichrock 33, no breast pockets, no flap on waist pockets, five front buttons, no insignia allowed except NCO collar tresse and rank chevrons
2nd pattern : Drillichrock "41", following the design of the Feldbluse 1933 modified 1941, six front buttons
3rd pattern : Drillichrock "42", following the design of the Feldbluse 1933 modified 1942, six front buttons, no pleat on pockets, but with scalloped flaps...
4th pattern : Drillichrock "43", following the design of the Feldlbuse 1933 modified 1943, six front buttons, no pleat and not scalloped flaps...
Thanks
