Looking for more info on this white backed eagle?

So there is a guy trying to sell me this flag that belonged to his grand-father. But ive never seen this flag so I dont know if its the real thing what it was used for and value? Any help would would be appreciated! Thanks

I believe this is a kriegsmarine sports eagle. It would have been cut off of the sports shirts they wore. Can you post a photo of the back? Here is my luftwaffe example of the equivalent.

Sports shirt emblem, neither rare or highly valuable. Others may be able to places a monetary value on it, but not something I actively pursue.

I would agree. I sold one of the luftwaffe ones a few months back for $50, but I was able to buy two for $40. It all really depends on what you want to pay and what the seller wants.

Hello,

The first eagle posted is a Heer 2nd pattern sports shirt eagle. The second eagle posted is a Luftwaffe Sport shirt eagle. KM sport shirt eagles looks like the first Heer eagle posted except in blue.Luftwaffe eagles came in 2 sizes.

For a base price I would start out at $25. and go up to $40. IMO
