Agreed. I do like it, and like different items as well. My only true fear is the eagle was re added post war. The rest seems correct IMHO. I am no expert though, hints my post.

Honestly who cares if the eagle was post war added..
If you ever sell it, just be honest with them..
I will be willing to bet that there MORE uniforms
than you think with post war added eagles/straps/rank..

Agreed. Just want to make sure it's just the eagle which may be added post war. As long as the collar tabs are correct to period, I would be happy to own this.

I honestly wouldnt know if it were an honor to be in a stalag..

Correct, it was a punishment I believe. Just trying to say they became a member of the ss while on duty at the camp.
