Default Luft M35 Flak Feldwebel Tuchrock Service Tunic

As promised when I posted my Flieger Tuchrock, here is my Flak example.

Flieger is here - Luft M35 Flieger Feldwebel Tuchrock Service Tunic

This one has a bit more wear but still at 98% condition. A few moth tracks and nips. Just have to sew on one of the buttons.

Dated 1937 tunic, typical blue-gray wool with Red cord piping around the collar and silver tress and shoulder boards (with silver tress and one “pip”). Embroidered silver-gray breast eagle/swastika. LBA37 (Luftwaffe Bekleidungs Amt)

You can see the interior belt loops but the holes have been sewn shut as well as for the dagger hanger.

    Unit marked I/Flak 12, 2nd Battery.

The visor is an NCO private purchase by Carl Halfer Berlin. Named to Ludwig Kessel I./Res. Flak - Abt. 394. Unfortunately, not the same unit

A cold and windy day so photos are what they are...wasn't going to wait outside for the perfect shot!

    Enjoy!

Thanks Bob. It's a nice early example, with light usage. But I really like the little customizations to it.

I can’t get enough of the Luftwaffe Tuchrock... one of the smartest and best looking tunics to come out of the TR, in my opinion.
I like the nice, clean unit stamps in yours, too!

Yes, they are very extremely sharp looking tunics. German WW2 tunics are by far the nicest ever designed. There was a logic to this as well. It was designed to instill a sense of pride.

My personal preference however is a nice private purchase Heer Officers. (I won't even include black SS because that is a complete other ballgame).

Very nice! I have a friend who collects tunics like this. But even he envies the owner of this tunic!

Wow! Super nice Tuchrock. Looks right as rain. Love the first pattern droop tail eagle. I have a similar one in my collection, but slightly later mfg and so it has the 2nd pattern eagle.

    Yep, definitely the most stylish!

I’ve got four, so far... but still no Flak example!
