Sorry to say but I am not convinced by this one, the lack of an eye, though on its own not a killer, but when combined with the untidy lower edge to its right wing and the embroidery would make me think twice about it. If it had been a drooptail I would say it was fine, but for this pattern I would expect it to be different to this. I am also not a fan of the very course looking backing fabric.

As always only my opinion, and as the variations in Luftwaffe embroidered eagles is nearly endless which means they are one of the hardest of all German TR insignia to offer a 100% certain opinion on IMHO.

I do see an eye and in hand the backing isn't very course. Sigh... I wish all the fake stuff in our hobby would just go up in a puff of smoke. It would make our lives so much easier...

As I mention, it is only an opinion and others liked it, so it might be good, the untidy wing edge is the killer for me, as I would expect it to flow more smoothly.
