Yes, they are the size needed to get an opinion worth having, or at least I think so. looks fine even with the detail I highlighted earlier, just a variation that used to be thought of as a sign of a fake, but no longer.

I must thank both of you for your inputs - it is always better to get more than one point of view.
My personal field of expertise is in South African Air Force items so these Luftwaffe eagles do not really fit in with my collection - I have them merely as curiosities and it is good to know that they are authentic.
