Luftwaffe doormans armband?

I found this armband on a website. Described as "WW2 German Luftwaffe doormans armband. A very rare armband, however, this one is very heavily damaged (a lot of moth damage). A very rough example of an extremely hard armband to find."
I have never heard or seen such a thing. Plus I never would have thought they would have used an eagle such as this for the Luftwaffe. Thoughts?

They did,indeed, use these style of armbands and eagles. These were the subject of discussion here not that long ago-take a look at the thread! Interesting things!
