Tunic looks good to me, an amazing lot of medal loops on the tunic, ... as for the insignia, it looks all original too, but when it was all placed on this tunic
is always going to be open to debate. Collar tabs were sometimes hand applied, so maybe they are period done, but the eagle looks like it was possibly
re-applied, but of course, these are only my humble observations.....
(and the amount of awards on the mannequin, for the rank of Hauptmann, with 1st war service would make him one of the oldest pilots with this rank, and
an RK & Oaks etc., maybe he had a drinking problem... but of course the awards can be changed around).
Bob
Looking again, no dagger hanger, and the cut of the collar looks strange too.... (I no longer collect uniforms, so will bow to the more experienced tunic collectors....)
Bob
Asortiment of medals is mostly for decoration, not that actuali go with te tunic.
I would agree with all of Bob's observations.
The lack of a dagger hanger is slightly unusual, but not a deal breaker.
Cheers, Ade.

Thanks guys,...the main question,...is this a WW2 period tunic?
I have some doubt for the reasons stated
here is one simmilar model. unfortunately i have only this picture
Wartime? I would say most likely yes.
However, all the added award loops would spoilt it for me and I would not buy it.
I would want one with no question marks over it and no issues. These are not rare.
Cheers, Ade.
