Article about: Could one of you gentlemen possibly send me in the right direction to decipher the depot stamps as well as the shoulder board buttons on my M36 feldbluse . of particular interest to me is we

    Default M36 feldbluse Depot stamps and shoulderboard buttons

    Could one of you gentlemen possibly send me in the right direction to decipher the depot stamps as well as the shoulder board buttons on my M36 feldbluse .
    of particular interest to me is were the second division infantry seen service early on during the war.
    I have added a few extra photos of the feldbluse I am trying to research.

    The number two on the button is for 2nd company and has nothing to do with the division or regiment number.

    The inkstamps are H39, which means it was issued through the Hanover clothing depot in 1939. The other numbers are the size, which are the length (106), width of the back (43), length of the sleeve (46), and the circumference of the neck (64) & chest (71).

    Thanks very much Jerry on the depot stamp information I probably should have chosen my words more carefully on the buttons .
