M36 Overcoat Help

I was in my VFW post when I was asked if I wanted anything they were throwing out. I noticed a M36 German overcoat that was destined for the trash, but saved it. The coat does have minor moth holes on it. It appears to be a 2nd Lt. by the shoulder boards, but I am unable to identify the job piping. Can anyone help me on this. I cant even tell if it is Wehrmacht or SS. So far ive seen alot of shoulder boards that resemble the ones I have.

Colours can sometimes be tricky to determine as monitors vary. But the waffenfarbe piping looks like Carmine red to me? The coat is Heer: SS wore a sleeve eagle.

ya ive been doing more research and the coat is Heer, I was also told on another forum that it looks like a smoke troops shoulder board.

The color on my screen looks to be smoke indeed.
This makes it rare and more valuable.
