The photo I posted can be found in a Squadron Signal publication titled "Panzer grenadiers"..
Squadron Signal Books are a very good reference for period photos of Aircraft, Armor, naval vessels and personnel in action....
If you look closely at the photo above the pocket there is also a campaign ribbon... Eastern Front most likely..
