Default M43 Uffz tunic for review

    Hallo

I have a Uffz tunic in my collection which is going to sale in near future
The eagle is replaced with an original eagle but not a matching one for that type of tunic. The subdued tresse is not so easy to find i guess. All other insignias are original to the tunic. Also the belt hooks are original with a nice green colour. Its slightly field used with no rips or tears on the outside. Only one rip in the lining i could find

Whats your opinion on this one gents?

Nice M 43 jacket! We will wait until you place it in " For sale" section.
The tresse is not easy to find, but I 've bought a couple of years ago 3 different styles in original packs

Certainly an original jacket, collar tabs are factory sewn.

I have actually seen M43 jackets in which these M36 type eagles were factory applied,so in some cases they are OK.It all depended on what was available at the factory at the time of mfg.

    Here is a period photo.

    Hi Glenn

Thanks for your comment. Here is a closeup of the eagle.
I think the eagle is postwar applied to the tunic, the sewing is through the lining ... what is your opinion?

Hi, I would say it is replaced. I cannot recall seeing the breast eagle when I visited you? But it could have been under the greatcoat on your bunker display

    Cheers, Ade.

I like how it is applied but it sits unusually high above the pocket and on an odd angle.

Here is one on a M43 that came direct from the Veteran, applied through the lining at the factory.
