    The waffenrock was no longer used for parades after 1940 and from 1941 onwards regulations changed to allow them to be converted for either field use or everyday tunics.

    This example shows that the owner has had the cuffs and collar adapted to a service tunic cut although has not added any pockets for some reason.

    The tunic and cap are for an unteroffizier of JR 104.

    Another converted Waffenrock with krimshield, this time Artillery - cuffs have gone, back two buttons have gone, two pleats reduced to one, for some reason four front pockets have not been added.
