Metallic Jaeger badge?

I have this metallic Jaeger badge. Where these worn on the M43 caps???If not where were these worn?

It think it was one or the other depending on unit? An edelweiss or oakleaves. No doubt someone will correct me but I'll move this to the correct forum for those who know their stuff to add to.

I took the pic with my cell phone sorry. I will try again later today to get a better one of the front and back. My doesn't have the pin arrangement like yours Eric. Mine the side prongs are broken off. I am off to work and will post again at 4pm my time.

Here is a better pic of the Back and front of the Jaeger Badge. Like i mentioned my Badge doesn't have the pin arrangement and also the metal tabs are broken off.
