Collecting the various eagles can be a lifetime project. It is a wonderful collecting interest. Keep us posted on your new acquisitions and you will be surprised at how many different eagles there are to collect.

Hello Gentelmen: this is my first post in yours prestigious forum. This one was post by me in this other forum. I present to your consideration an embroided bullion Seemannsjacke breast eagle from the NCO Engineer Walther Prehl, crewman of the Graf Spee, sunken in the Rio de la Plata in December 1939. This eagle was purchased directly from the Prehl`s family. For your glad, I post also, several pics from Mr. Prehl (after surviving the disaster) a copy of an oficial register of Graf Spee survivors from the archives of the Argentina Navy (Mr.Prehl is the number 35), and a picture digitalized for me from the original roll of B&W film, where the fabulous Graf Spee while sinking in the Rio de la Plata. Enjoy it!! Best regards. Daniel
