    It's amazing that you have so many things of his, especially considering that most German veterans disposed of their uniforms soon after the war's end.

    As I have said in previous threads, I have come from a staunch military background, both German and Australian. Dad was "pinched" when he first came to Australia for riding a push-bike without a light and was required to present himself to court with identification papers. These were some of what he presented (The Court and Police shit themselves)
