I know what you mean, usually the scans can't get the colors 100% correctly

    Thanks guys,

I have only been a member of this Forum for a short period. I wish I had known of it's existence well before because I am learning so much.

What I have done is share what is mainly family military items, I'm very proud of their service but on occassions I've been hammered.

    Regards, Grant.

    Hello Gentlemen,
    This is a nice grouping.
My only advice would be to display the uniform set and dagger separatly. What i would do is display the dagger in a cabinet. The belt and ammo pouches are too high, as are the Abzeichen (you may damage the wool with their pin). Thanks for sharing items and story...
    Thanks

Thanks JPhilip, Unfortunately these go back into the chest, I took the photo simply to share with this Forum. The Bluse is actually very small (as was Dad at the time) in photos where he is wearing tunic etc, particularly in late war photos, the breast pockets literally cover his whole chest and the crotch of his pants is barely above his boots.

Great items! Thanks for sharing! If you ever have some free time, I would also love to see the photos if you decide to share them.

Yeah, i'm glad this thread has been reopened. Thanks JPhilip.
Grant it's a pity to put these items in the chest. It would be nice to display them on a torso in the house.
And i agree with Bill, if you decide to share with us your dad's photos it would be awesome.
    Cheers
    Chris.
