    Hey guys,

Excited to share with you guys my first German uniform after 10 years of collecting. A beautiful salty first pattern, M40 tropical DAK panzer tunic. I also purchased the original tan 6x30 binoculars to go with it. The uniform was de-Nazified post war however the rest remained. I have a nice worn tropical breast eagle that goes with it and will be properly sewn on at a later time. M43 cap is a reproduction, it is just there for display.

    Hope you guys enjoy,

Beautiful rendition Ryan. One point though, the dienstglas are 6x30 magnification.

I just noticed that I put 20 instead of 30, thanks for pointing that out. It's exam period, my brain is melted .

    Best Regards,

    Hello,
That's a nice first pattern Tropenbluse...hope you can nicely add your worn Hoheitsabzeichen...
one thing tho, factory tan painted binos were produced from 1943...they do not fit a DAK set up. Binos should be black or field tan camouflaged...
Binos are not accurate for a DAK set up, but as seen on period photos depicting members of the Aufklärungsabteilung of the 15. Panzergrenadier-Division in Lorraine in September 1944, first pattern tunic with deathheads on the lapels were still worn and tan binos most probably used...
    Thanks

Here is a later model I put back together for display. It is a well worn example that survived the war. NH
