“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
I give up. I quit. I think I will sell my meagre collection and start collecting rocks instead...
Just kidding but that is one very impressive collection.
Not a collector of German militaria myself, I will however applaud you for a very well displayed collection.
Amazing collection
Glad to have you here and thanks for showing this beautiful display.
Cheers
Nuno

This is extremely impressive!
I own just one Waffenrock. They are quite the uniform. Welcome to the forum!
That is a serious investment you have there...well done!
Thanks for the replies everyone...much appreciated.
I meant to post some detailed pics of my collection last week, but it seems I never have enough time. At any rate, I decided to post a few pics of one of my rarer waffenrocks.... a Kupferbraun Waffenrock with matching stone gray trousers; both pieces are in mint condition.
It is interesting to note, both interior sleeve linings of the jacket are stenciled/stamped, "Stadttheater Giessen." A place possibly where this ensemble rested for 65 plus years before it reached my collection.
The waffenrock and trousers are not named and there is no owner's label but considering the rarity of a cooper brown piped waffenrock, it matters little to me and I'm happy to have them in my collection. The jacket is rare, but when was the last time you saw an original stone gray pair of copper brown piped trousers?
