After restoration maybe I leave it in this condition. It wouldn't be original with extraneous parts.

Thank you! I have Bundeswehr buttons, and i try to collect original cord. A don't want to use repro.
Use original WWII buttons and officers chinstrap. They are easy too find.

This is a private purchase cap as stated but for Other Ranks/NCO's. Wire bullion insignia was an expensive option available to all ranks.

You need a black leather chin strap and black buttons.

It belonged to a member of 2nd Kompanie/Infantry Regt 75.

The inspection stamps prove this was an other ranks /nco's cap.

    Cheers, Ade.

Real nice visor at good price as Patrick and Friedrich state chincords and buttons are not hard to find or expensive. Nice find. I like it and the marks inside the sweatband. timothy

Thank you all, but...I don't understand now. Black buttons and strap or silver buttons and silver cord? Ade said black, Patrick shown silver.

Black smooth side buttons and leather chincord black is what Ade means for NCO. timothy
