i got this eagle this summer before i really wanted to start collecting items, i want to make sure first it is real, if so from what branch and the worth of this item?? I bought it for $40 CAD
I bought it from well known and well recommended dealers store locally.

It looks like a good KM eagle from what I can see in the scan. I think the price you paid is ok.

yes, I would GUESS that it is worth more than $40 CAD. I'm not saying it is an officer's. Most KM eagles were gold. But I am no KM expert. I only answered because nobody else did.

It would be for an officer as the EM`s cap badge and cockade were joined together.It`s worth what you paid for it,however others may disagree.
