I'm hoping someone can shed some light on anything about this label.
I'm hoping someone can shed some light on anything about this label.
It's for Pionier [private] Lutz of the 8. Kompanie, Eisenbahn-Pionier-Regiment 68 [8th Company, Railway Engineers Regiment 68].
For some data on the unit, see: Eisenbahn-Pionier-Regiment 68 - LdW
Thank you for the information. Anything known about this regiment, location assignments if any etc?
Thanks again I see you updated the information.
This is also on the same band, any idea what it might say or mean?
Same unit as before just the 1st kompanie.

What Ade said, and the "II" next to the unit marking is for the condition of the item.
(Issue uniforms and gear were inspected on a yearly basis and classed in four categories identified by markings from "I" to "IIII".)
