Nebelwerfer Hauptmann shoulder boards

I am buying these boards from MDmilitaria. They look great and the owner has been very helpful and friendly! I wanted to share my newest pick up :-) I'll post my own pics when they arrive in the mail.

Nice pick up. I was also thinking to grab them but i was reluctant due to the repaired straps on the base.
If they were a bit cheaper i would go for it though.

Not sure about the boards they remind me of the East German Stasi boards they used in the late 50s and 60s

Gel, they are similar, but still very different in color and construction. The ones I'm purchasing are from a reputable dealer with a return policy.

The east german ones are really shiny and the WWII ones are more dull looking and extremely nice looking in comparison. East German stuff is halloween costume quality.
