Need help on Kriegsmarine tropical jacket

Hi guys,
This is my first post on this forum, and I hope there is someone out here who can help with this uniform.
I have a KM tropical jacket, but there are some things I have problems with...

I'm pretty sure the insignia is original, but post-war applied on the uniform.
The buttons show different conditions, from almost brand new to heavy used.
I also have never before seen this type of jacket.
What are your opinions on this jacket?

The jacket looks similar to the so called KM brown summer work jacket, but I have not seen one with the rounded corners on the lower edge before. The eagle has been very badly applied recently I think.

Hi Geert, KM is not really my thing.

But my feeling is this jacket is postwar with newly applied wartime insignia. Concerns would be the cut, lack of markings and dressing pocket.
